Rosgvardiya special forces destroyed a BMP-1 with Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters in Sumy region

Rosgvardiya special forces prevented the transfer of the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by destroying an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) with militants in the Sumy region. This was announced on April 11 by Rosgvardiya.

It is specified that drone operators have discovered Ukrainian Armed Forces facilities in one of the settlements of the region. Military equipment provided cover for a group of Ukrainian militants.

"Thus, the transfer of enemy personnel to the line of contact was disrupted," the department's Telegram channel said.

The Rosgvardiya added: in order to ensure the destruction of armored vehicles, a repeated control strike was carried out on a stationary target.

On the same day, the crew of the D-30 howitzer of the artillery unit of the motorized rifle brigade of the 25th Combined Arms Army of the Zapad group of forces eliminated camouflaged positions, an 82-millimeter mortar and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the special military operation (SVO). After completing the combat mission, the gunners helped the Russian assault units advance and occupy more advantageous positions.
