President of Republika Srpska Dodik called Europe synonymous with crisis

Europe has become synonymous with crisis and has lost everything thanks to its leadership. This was announced on April 11 by the President of Republika Srpska (RS), the entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Milorad Dodik.

According to him, representatives of the current "Brussels mainstream" no longer feel safe and believe that Europe, over which they have been entrusted, is lost.

"Today, Europe is synonymous with crisis. And it is precisely because of the inability to provide support, because they themselves created this crisis, that they resort to such dramatic, radical methods," the RS president said in an interview with TASS.

Dodik stressed that in Europe, among other things, they are trying to eliminate leaders who enjoy the support of the people. This is how he answered a question about the persecution of popular European politicians, in particular Romanian presidential candidate Calin Georgescu and the leader of the parliamentary faction of the French National Unification Party Marine Le Pen.

"Those leaders who enjoy the support of the people, through such operations and abuses of justice — and in our country this justice is not even spelled out in the constitution — are trying to eliminate both in Romania, in France, and in our country. The same thing is happening in Germany, as far as I know, with regard to the AfD party (Alternative for Germany. — Ed.)," Dodik added.

The RS President also expressed the opinion that the Austrian Freedom Party (APS) could become the next "victim" of Western states. He added that similar elimination methods were also used against US President Donald Trump. According to Dodik, unfortunately, "for this liberal establishment, if you can call it that, everything is changing, and everything is not the same as it was just six months ago."

The facts of the European Commission's interference in the internal affairs of Poland and Hungary have been made public.

Political analyst Alexander Asafov said on April 4 that the Trump administration is skeptical about Europe, and suggested that tensions between the parties will increase and fragile Euro-Atlantic cooperation will collapse. According to him, officials from the Trump team call European countries freeloaders.

A member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, foreign policy specialist Elena Fritz, in an interview with Izvestia on March 31, called Le Pen's ban on participating in elections for five years part of the "systematic elimination" of opposition forces.
