The media reported on Britain's plans to deploy troops in Ukraine for five years.

The UK is considering the possibility of deploying troops in Ukraine for five years. This was reported on April 10 by The Telegraph newspaper.
"The UK is considering the possibility of deploying troops in Ukraine for a period of five years as part of plans being discussed by the allies," the publication says.
The publication clarified that in addition to sending ground troops, the "coalition of the willing" led by London and Paris intends to ensure the protection of the country's airspace and maritime space, as well as to give the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) "the necessary respite."
The summit of the Coalition of the Willing was held in Paris on March 27. The meeting was attended by about 30 European leaders, including President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Then French leader Emmanuel Macron said that Paris and London intend to deploy military personnel in places strategically important for Kiev. He clarified that he had agreed with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to work together to provide the Kiev regime with a "strong army."
In turn, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Moscow is categorically against the deployment of so-called Western peacekeepers on Ukrainian territories, as this is fraught with the danger of a direct clash between Russia and NATO.
