Former coach of the Netherlands and Real Madrid Leo Benhacker has died at the age of 82.

Famous Dutch coach Leo Benhacker, who led Real Madrid, Ajax and the national teams, has died at the age of 82. This was announced on April 10 on the website of the Dutch Major League Soccer.

"A unique person with a unique coaching career. He managed the biggest clubs and the national team of the Netherlands. It's hard to find a brighter personality than Leo. A man who has experienced more adventures than Tintin. Sleep well, Leo, and thank you for a lot," said Jan de Jong, director of Eredivisie CV.

It is specified that the specialist led such teams as Ajax, Feyenoord and Vitesse, the Spanish Zaragoza and Real Madrid, the national teams of the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and Trinidad and Tobago.
