Only about six countries out of 30 members of the "coalition of the willing" said they could send military personnel to Ukraine. This was reported on April 10 by the AFP news agency, citing European officials.

In particular, it is indicated that the United Kingdom, France and the Baltic countries have declared their readiness to send their contingents.

At the same time, as the agency notes, a serious problem for the participants in the discussion on the action plan for Ukraine is that they have virtually no idea about possible US actions against Russia in the context of a peaceful settlement.

The summit of the Coalition of the Willing was held in Paris on March 27. The meeting was attended by about 30 European leaders, including President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Then French leader Emmanuel Macron said that Paris and London intend to deploy military personnel in places strategically important for Kiev. He clarified that he had agreed with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to work together to provide the Kiev regime with a "strong army."

In turn, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Moscow is categorically against the deployment of so-called Western peacekeepers on Ukrainian territories, as this is fraught with the danger of a direct clash between Russia and NATO.
