Russia's international reserves have grown to $658 billion, reaching a historic high. This is evidenced by data from the Central Bank of Russia, published on March 10.

"As of the end of the day on April 4, international reserves amounted to $658 billion, having increased by 12.4 billion over the week, or by 1.9%," the regulator's website says.

The Central Bank cited a positive revaluation of international reserves as the reason for this growth.

The previous historical record of $650 billion was set on March 21. According to the Central Bank, for the period from March 14 to March 21 of this year, the indicator increased by 1.3%, which is equivalent to $8.5 billion. At that time, a significant increase in international reserves was also the result of a positive revaluation.
