At consultations in Istanbul, Russia and the United States agreed on further measures to facilitate the movement of diplomats and their visa processing. This was announced on April 10 by Russian Ambassador to Washington Alexander Darchiev.

It is noted that the parties will work out the initiatives put forward at the talks in order to reach new agreements by the next round of consultations. The round of negotiations allowed the parties to move forward in solving the task of normalizing the work of diplomatic missions, he added.
