Motorcyclists will be allowed to park for free in the Moscow region

Motorcycles, scooters and other two-wheeled motorized vehicles will be allowed to be left free of charge in paid parking lots in the Moscow region, the relevant law was adopted by the Moscow City Duma on April 10, TASS reports. We are talking about paid parking lots that are located on state or municipal land.

The draft law also gives the right to free parking of vehicles to certain categories of citizens on a free or preferential basis. Information about the equipment should be in the register, which will be maintained by the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Moscow region. In addition, free parking is provided in the region and for large families.

To maintain preferential conditions for using paid parking, you need to register your vehicles in the registry on the regional portal of public services, the service will be available with the entry into force of the law.

Paid parking in the Moscow region began operating on November 1, 2024. Currently, the right of large families to free parking is being implemented with the participation of the Ministry of Social Development of the Moscow Region.
