The US authorities are preparing a document that will stop federal funding for any city in the country that protects illegal migrants. This was announced on April 10 by the American President Donald Trump.

"No more sanctuary cities! They protect the perpetrators, not the victims. They are a disgrace to our country and cause ridicule all over the world. We are working on documents to deprive any city or state that allows these death traps to exist of federal funding," Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.

In addition, he also announced the preparation of a "big, wonderful bill" providing for the largest tax cuts in the history of the United States.

Earlier, on April 4, The Guardian newspaper reported, citing sources, that thousands of young Ukrainians who came to the United States after the start of the special operation are afraid of deportation because of Washington's migration policy. With Trump's inauguration as head of state, the program to support refugees from Ukraine was terminated: they can no longer renew their two-year work permits and protection from deportation.
