The lawyer spoke about the new tax cashback for families with children

Starting in 2026, tax cashback will be available in Russia for families with two or more minor children or children undergoing full-time education under the age of 23. David Adams, CEO of the Professional Legal Group AID, said this on Thursday, April 10.
The lawyer clarified that working parents will be able to refund part of the income tax paid if the average per capita family income does not exceed 1.5% of the region's subsistence level. This provision is fixed in the Federal Law.
"The amount of the refund will be determined as the difference between personal income tax at the rate of 13% and the same tax calculated at the rate of 6%," he explained in an interview with Lenta.Ru .
Adams added that in order to receive the payment, you will need to apply to the Social Fund of Russia (SFR) from June 1 to October 1, 2025. In addition, you can apply for payments through Public Services or the MFC.
Earlier, on April 8, the Social Fund recalled that in Russia in 2025, three conditions must be met simultaneously in order to calculate an insurance pension. First, citizens must reach retirement age: 64 for men and 59 for women. Secondly, the work experience of Russians should be at least 15 years. Thirdly, in order to receive a pension, it is necessary to have at least 30 pension coefficients, IA Regnum reports.
