The Russian government will allocate more than 520 million rubles for the construction of apartment buildings in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on April 10 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"Today, we will allocate more than 520 million rubles for the construction of apartment buildings in the Donetsk People's Republic and in the Zaporizhia region," Mishustin said at a government meeting.

He also noted that the implementation of a large-scale state program for the restoration and socio-economic development of new regions continues. This program provides support to businesses, industrial and agricultural enterprises, repairs and construction of social facilities, energy and utility systems, roads and housing.

Mishustin clarified that over 360 billion rubles were allocated for these and other events last year.

"We will continue to do everything necessary for the active development of the regions so that the overall standard of living there is not lower than the national average," the Prime Minister concluded.

On March 22, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin said that modern infrastructure should be created in the Zaporizhia region, increasing the volume of housing commissioning, renovation of housing and communal services, and social facilities. He also noted that there is a "positive trend" in these areas.
