The court sentenced a cook to 16 years in prison in the case of an attempted terrorist attack.

Vadim Chaly, a native of Kiev, who tried to send packages of bombs to the Russian military, was sentenced to 16 years in a penal colony. This was reported to Izvestia on April 10 in the press service of the military court.

"Chaly was sentenced to 16 years in a high-security penal colony <...> and fined 500,000 rubles. The man was found guilty of three attempted terrorist attacks (Part 3 of Article 30, Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), as well as the sale, storage and transportation of explosives by an organized group (part 4 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the message says.
