The police in the Magadan region are conducting an investigation into fraud, as a result of which a 64-year-old man was injured. He lost more than 1.9 million rubles.

According to a resident of the village of Ust-Omchug, in one of the messengers he received a call allegedly from the head. The source warned that a "law enforcement officer" would contact the man. Soon, the victim actually received a new call. The attacker convinced the Magadan resident that an attempt had allegedly been made to transfer money from his accounts to a banned organization. To prevent the transfer, the victim was offered to perform a number of operations and transfer money to a "secure" account. This is reported by IA MagadanMedia.

In Lipetsk, a 63-year-old woman gave 2.3 million rubles to fraudsters. The scammers introduced themselves as employees of the "management company".
