Israel and Turkey hold talks on security issues in Azerbaijan

The Office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the meeting of the Israeli and Turkish delegations on political and security issues, which took place in Azerbaijan. This was stated on April 10 in an official statement published on the chancellery's website following the negotiations.

"A delegation led by Director of the National Security Council Tsakhi Hanegbi and with the participation of senior representatives of the Ministry of Defense and Security Services met last night with a parallel Turkish delegation," the statement said.

During the meeting, the sides discussed regional interests and agreed to continue the dialogue in order to maintain stability and security.

Israel also thanked Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev "for organizing important negotiations."

The head of the Foreign Ministry of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held talks with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar in Abu Dhabi on April 6. The sides discussed regional and international efforts to renew the truce agreement, achieve a cease-fire and release the hostages.
