It is planned to restore and return to full operation the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station in Kuban, which was damaged in February after an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), by the end of May. The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) announced this on Thursday, April 10.

CPC General Director Nikolai Gorban personally checked the progress of the restoration work by visiting the station. After the inspection, he held a meeting with representatives of the contractors and the operational staff of the NPS, where they clarified the timing of the repair work. They were determined taking into account the adaptation of domestic equipment instead of foreign ones and the availability of necessary spare parts.

"The schedule of restoration work provides for the commissioning of the Kropotkinskaya NPP by the end of May 2025," the CPC website says.

An attack by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones on an oil pumping station in Kuban took place on February 17. There were no casualties among the staff. In addition, the workers were able to prevent the threat of an oil spill. The largest CPC station in Russia was damaged and decommissioned.

After that, on March 24, Russian air defense systems intercepted an APU drone 7 km from the Kropotkinskaya CPC oil pumping station in the Krasnodar Territory.
