The fire season has started in the Khabarovsk Territory

The fire season began in the Khabarovsk Territory on April 10. 28 landscape fires were eliminated in the region.
The beginning of the season is associated with the onset of warming and the establishment of positive temperatures. Firefighters and rescuers have organized monitoring of the situation from stations and using a satellite system. There are also patrols and aerial surveillance using drones, IA AmurMedia writes.
During the autumn period, 338.6 km of mineralized strips were renewed in the region, and 730.2 km more are planned to be renewed. In the settlements, 273 were repaired and 70 new sources of fire-fighting water supply were equipped.
Fires have already been registered in the territories of Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Vyazemsky, Solnechny, Verkhnebureinsky districts, Lazo district and Bikinsky district.
On April 7, a special fire protection regime was introduced in Blagoveshchensk, Amur region. Locals were forbidden to build bonfires and use an open fire for cooking.
