Omoda announces the "cyber-mechanical" crossover C3

Omoda has announced a new C3 crossover. It is made in a "cyber-mechanical" design, according to a statement from the Chinese manufacturer, which was received by Izvestia on April 10.
According to representatives of the brand, in Omoda C3, the brand's designers abandoned smooth curves for the sake of contours drawn "like lightning strikes." The silhouette of the car is inspired by the cyber-futuristic reality of "mecha" — high-tech cars of the future.
The Omoda C3 will be the youngest model in the Chinese brand's lineup. The new product is expected to make its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show this April. This year, Omoda plans to launch its flagship C7 crossover on the Russian market. Currently, the brand's lineup in Russia includes the C5 crossover and the S5 and S5 GT sedans.
Earlier that day, Hongqi introduced in Russia a new version of the Hongqi H5 business sedan in the Black Edition, which differs in stylistic solutions. The model costs from 5.15 million rubles, which is 160 thousand more expensive than the Deluxe version, which was previously the maximum for the Hongqi H5.
Also, on April 10, Russia started accepting applications for Sollers SF1 midsize vans priced from 1.99 million rubles. Two versions are available to choose from — with a gross weight of 2,600 kg or 2,499 kg.
