Degtyarev announced the development of a code of ethics for Russian sports

The Ministry of Sports is developing a code of ethics for Russian sports, which will be adopted in the near future. This was announced on April 10 by the head of the department, President of the Russian Olympic Committee Mikhail Degtyarev.
"We have already started developing a code of ethics for Russian sports. We will host it in the coming weeks at the board of the Ministry of Sports," he said during a round table of the Expert Institute for Social Research at the International Multimedia Press Center of the Russia Today Media Group.
According to Degtyarev, the future code of ethics should be familiar to everyone: from ministers to aspiring athletes.
"We always remain patriots of Russia and remember that we all, together and individually, cherish the honor of our team, school, city and great Russia," the head of the Ministry of Sports quoted an excerpt from the code, which is under development.
Degtyarev announced on April 8 that in 2025, about 2.8 billion rubles were allocated for the development of adaptive sports in the Russian Federation. According to the minister, increasing the accessibility of sports infrastructure for the disabled, creating adaptive physical education institutions in all regions and increasing the number of sports events with the participation of veterans of a special military operation is the department's priority for the next five years.
