- The premiere of the film "June Wormwood" about the childhood of WWII veteran Gladyshev took place.

On April 10, an art documentary film "June Wormwood" was released, dedicated to the childhood memories of World War II veteran Viktor Gladyshev.
The premiere of the film took place on April 5 at the KARO Oktyabr cinema. The film was presented by director Yulia Bocharova, producer Ilya Aksenov, writer and journalist Natalia Sukhinina, actors Nikolai Aksenov and Varvara Bocharova. Gladyshev himself came to the show.
"I am grateful that you have come, that you will see the difficult days that our Russia has gone through," the veteran said.
Filming took place in Moscow, Kaliningrad, Borovsk, Medyn and Pereslavl-Zalessky.
The plot of the film is based on the real memories of Gladyshev, whose childhood was occupied, captured and starved. His story, told in modern times to an eight-year-old girl named Varya, symbolizing a new generation, became the basis for an emotional dialogue between the time of the war and the present.
The film is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) and was created by the studios of Nord Star Production and ANO Abris with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.
Earlier, on April 1, NMG Film Distribution showed a teaser of the sequel to the film "Red Silk", which was called "Black Silk". In the first film, which premiered in February 2025, the main setting was the Trans-Siberian express in the late 20s of the last century.
