The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case against the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the killings of civilians in the village of Makhnovka, Kursk region. This was announced on April 10 by the official representative of the department Svetlana Petrenko.
It has been established that Ukrainian servicemen fired at residential buildings in the village of Makhnovka, resulting in the death of nine civilians. An inspection of the ruins confirmed the use of artillery, and gunshot wounds were found on six bodies. Among the dead is an elderly woman with a gunshot wound to the head.
