The European Commission suggested that Ukraine "cook borsch together"

The European Commission (EC) compared the process of Ukraine's admission to the European Union (EU) with cooking borscht and suggested that Kiev "cook borsch together." This was announced on April 10 by European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos at a business forum in Brussels.

She clarified that this expression symbolizes not only the cooking process, but also the importance of working together on complex tasks.

"Let's cook borscht together. Let's also build a partnership between Ukraine and the EU," the European Commissioner said.

Kos offered to invest in the industry of Ukraine and in the future reconstruction of the country. According to her, it is necessary to focus on the construction of ports, bridges and roads in accordance with European environmental standards.
