Lipetsk authorities will pay a schoolgirl 30 thousand rubles for falling into a well

The administration of the Lipetsk district and the Borinsky rural settlement must pay compensation for moral damage in favor of a 15-year-old schoolgirl who fell into an open well. This was decided by the court, which satisfied the demand of the prosecutor's office.

GOROD48, referring to the press service of the Prosecutor's office of the Lipetsk region, writes that the incident occurred in June 2023. The artist girl and her teacher went to the plein air and fell into an open well on Demyan Bedny Street in the village of Borinskoye.

The victim was diagnosed with bruises and a laceration of her right leg, she received stitches and prescribed comprehensive treatment. The girl miraculously escaped more serious injuries, as there was a pin sticking out of the open well, the agency writes.

It turned out that the well was abandoned and did not belong to anyone. For this reason, the prosecutor's office submitted a submission to the head of the municipality. After that, access to the well was closed. Now the district and rural administrations must pay compensation to the victim.

At the end of January, it was reported that the court in Birobidzhan granted the prosecutor's office's claim filed against the management company, on whose territory the boy slipped and broke his leg. The Criminal Code was ordered to pay compensation for moral damage in the amount of 300 thousand rubles and almost 14 thousand rubles of material damage in favor of the victim. A local resident contacted the supervisory authority, who asked to protect her minor son. He was injured after falling on a slippery road.
