On April 10, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova compared the statements of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kai Kallas, about the discussion within the European Union (EU) on the use of frozen Russian assets with the process of preparing a crime.

"It seems to me that this is a unique opportunity to analyze a crime not after it has been committed, but at the time of planning and development," Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel.

In her opinion, criminologists, psychologists and physiognomists "got an incredible chance literally live" to study the motivation and course of criminal thought.

Earlier in the day, Callas said that the EU was holding talks with various countries regarding the use of frozen assets. According to her, issues are currently being discussed with 27 member states regarding the use of frozen Russian assets.
