Air defense systems destroyed 42 Ukrainian UAVs over seven regions of Russia overnight

Air defense systems destroyed 42 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) overnight over seven regions of Russia. This was announced on April 10 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"42 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department said in a message on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that the UAVs were intercepted in the skies over Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Belgorod, Orel, Moscow regions and Crimea.

More than 30 sites have been hit since agreements were reached on steps to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

The day before, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems on duty intercepted 23 unmanned aerial vehicles over the country's regions overnight. It is specified that 19 UAVs were hit in the sky over the Kursk region and four drones were destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region.
