- The UK explained the refusal to issue a biomaterial due to suspicions of child substitution in Yakutia.

The Investigative Committee of Yakutia named the reason for the refusal to issue the child's biomaterial to Daria Luzina's mother, who suspected substitution. This was reported to Izvestia on April 10 in the department.
According to the Investigative Committee, it is currently impossible to issue biological materials, as they have been sent for genotyposcopic forensic examination to the Far Eastern branch of the FGKU Forensic Expert Center of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
On March 14, Luzina told about the alleged substitution 17 years ago in the hospital. According to her, she found out the sex of the child from the documents of the morgue. The woman claims that she gave birth to a healthy boy, but she was given the body of a girl with pathologies. She said that in the social networks of Irina Evsikova, the doctor who delivered the baby, she came across a photo with a child who looked like herself. After the whole situation, Luzina wrote a statement so that the medical worker would be held accountable.
Later, on March 20, the prosecutor's office of the Tomponsky district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) began checking after the Izvestia story about a possible substitution of a child in the hospital. An assessment will be given of compliance with healthcare legislation, as well as the legality of the actions of the staff of the medical institution and other issues.
According to the results of the DNA test, Luzina is the biological mother of the buried child, whose genetic profile was obtained during the exhumation.
