A Ukrainian detained by FSB officers was convicted of calling for extremism

The Office of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia in the Smolensk region has brought a native of Ukraine to criminal responsibility for public calls to carry out extremist activities. This was reported on April 10 in the press service of the FSB in the region.
"The man, who adheres to nationalist views, called for violent acts against the military personnel of Russia and Belarus, as well as their physical destruction," the ministry said.
The FSB added that he was a member of numerous communities controlled by the Ukrainian special services, aimed at involving Russian residents in sabotage and intelligence activities on the side of Ukraine.
The department reported that the 43-year-old attacker was found guilty of committing the crime he was charged with and sentenced to two years in prison in a general regime colony. He is also banned from website administration for 2.5 years.
On April 7, a supporter of a Ukrainian terrorist organization was detained in the Orel region for calling for cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He called on the Russian military to side with the enemy and cooperate with the Ukrainian Armed Forces by providing information about the Russian Armed Forces.
