Seven people were injured in an accident in the Sverdlovsk region.

Seven people, including two children, were injured in a collision between two cars on the Nizhnyaya Salda– Alapaevsk highway in the Alapaevsky district of the Sverdlovsk region. This was announced on April 10 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.

"According to preliminary data, the driver of a Toyota car drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Fiat car moving towards him," the department's Telegram channel clarified.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and treated all the injured. It is reported that four adult victims are in intensive care.

On the fact of the incident, police officers organized a check. All circumstances are being established.
