An elderly driver driving a car crashed into a hospital building in the Japanese city of Funabashi in Chiba Prefecture, near Tokyo, injuring five people. This was reported on April 10 by the NHK TV channel.

It is specified that an 80-year-old man was driving at the time of the accident. He crashed into the entrance group of the medical facility when there were people inside.

"A total of five people — two men and three women who were nearby — were injured," the TV channel said in a statement.

Also, according to NHK, the driver of the car was injured. The police are currently investigating the incident.

In Argentina, on April 9, a bus left the road and tipped over on its side, killing seven people and injuring several others. According to eyewitnesses, the accident could have occurred due to a technical malfunction of the bus. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact causes of the accident.
