US President Donald Trump mistakenly called former national Security aide Herbert McMaster, whom he had previously publicly called a loser. This was announced on April 9 by the CBS News channel.

It is clarified that a little over a month ago, Martha called the ex-adviser from the White House and said that the American leader wanted to talk to him. The day before, on March 2, Trump described McMaster on the Truth Social network as a "weak and completely ineffective loser."

When the head of the White House began the conversation by addressing a certain Henry, McMaster immediately realized that a mistake had occurred. He politely introduced himself, but after Trump realized who he was talking to, the conversation was interrupted, and the American leader expressed his displeasure.

"The president intended to call South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, not his former national security adviser," the publication noted.

NBC News reported on March 28 that Trump expressed dissatisfaction with his national security adviser, Michael Waltz, after the incident with the leak of data on American strikes in Yemen due to the accidental addition of a journalist to a secret chat of officials in the Signal messenger. In addition, the US president fears that his decision to appoint a congressman as a security adviser may eventually weaken the political positions of Republicans.
