In the Dominican Republic, the number of victims as a result of the collapse of the roof of a nightclub has increased to 184 people. This was announced on April 9 by the head of the COE Emergency Management Center, Juan Manuel Mendes.

"Unfortunately, I want to inform you that at the moment we have identified 184 people," the Listin Diario newspaper quoted him as saying.

At the same time, according to the statement of the Minister of Health Victor Atallah, most of those who died as a result of the collapse died instantly, since most of the injuries occurred directly on the head and chest.

The roof of a nightclub in the Dominican Republic collapsed on April 8 during a party by singer Rubby Perez. The cause has not yet been determined. According to Waldo Ariel Suero, a doctor, there are medical workers among those who are considered missing and dead.

The Russian Embassy in the Dominican Republic told Izvestia that, according to preliminary data, there are no foreign citizens on the lists of dead and injured.
