The Mi-35M crew destroyed the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border area of the Kursk region

An army aviation crew on a Mi-35M helicopter eliminated the manpower and armored vehicles of the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) units in the border area of the Kursk region. This was announced on April 10 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

While performing a combat mission to support units of the North group of forces, the pilots launched missiles at specified coordinates and eliminated enemy personnel, as well as its armored vehicles, the ministry said.

After completing the strike, the crew performed anti-missile maneuvering at extremely low altitude with the firing of heat traps that prevent missiles from the enemy's man-portable air defense system (MANPADS).

The destruction of the targets was confirmed by an advanced aviation gunner, the Russian Defense Ministry added.

The liberation of the city from the Ukrainian Armed Forces was a defeat not only for the Kiev regime, but for the entire NATO bloc.

The Ministry of Defense announced on April 9 that during the day the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk direction amounted to more than 230 soldiers. It was also noted that the Russian military destroyed two mortars, as well as four UAV control points and an ammunition depot.

In addition, on April 7, the ministry reported that the crews of Su-25 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) launched missile air strikes at the temporary deployment point of the AFU unit in the Kursk region. It was clarified that the missile launches were carried out in pairs at low altitudes, skirting the terrain.
