The restoration of Mariupol, Donetsk and Melitopol airports may require 1.5-2 billion rubles each. This was told by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin in an interview with Izvestia.

"We are preparing to restore the Mariupol, Donetsk, Melitopol airports. As soon as the operational situation allows, we will quickly restore these airports, and there will still be air traffic. On average, an airport will cost about 1.5-2 billion rubles. The situation there is more or less the same, they have not suffered that much. The airport buildings will have to be completely built, and the runways can be repaired. I think that in a year or two we will restore them all, as soon as the opportunity arises," he said.

Deputy Prime Minister also noted that in the new regions the roads will be restored and brought to standard condition.

"We are going on the new territories in several stages. The first stage is to bring highways into a normal condition. We started by expanding the capacity of all checkpoints. Now all of them have a capacity 2-10 times higher than it was before," Marat Khusnullin added.
