Two people died in an accident in the Stavropol Territory.


Two people were killed and two were injured as a result of a car leaving the road in the Kursk region, the press service of the Stavropol Territory State Traffic Inspectorate reported on Wednesday, April 9.
It was previously established that the accident occurred at about 20:30 local time (coincides with Moscow time) on the Kurskaya – Gornozavodskoye highway. According to the agency, a 25-year-old girl driving a Lada Priora, despite the rain, was moving at an unsafe speed, as a result of which she left the road and crashed into a tree.
It is specified that one of the passengers died at the scene, another later died in a medical facility. The female driver and the third passenger were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
An investigative team and traffic police officers are working at the scene of the accident. An investigation is underway into the accident, and detailed circumstances of the incident are being established, the department added.
On April 9, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Stavropol Territory reported a collision between two buses in the city of Nevinnomyssk. It was previously established that the driver of the PAZ bus lost control and ran over the parked NefAZ bus, as a result of which five passengers required medical assistance.
