Slovak premier speaks about talks on gas transit through Ukraine

The issue of Russian gas transit through Ukraine will be discussed during peace talks, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo said in an interview with Izvestia.
"And I very much believe that the time will come for negotiations that will not only lead to peace, but within the framework of these negotiations the resumption of Russian gas supplies through Ukraine in the direction of Slovakia and then further to the West will be discussed," Fitzo said.
According to him, the resumption of supplies via this route will affect price stability in Europe.
We shall remind you that Ukraine stopped transit of Russian gas through its territory on January 1.
