The Red Army continues its offensive in Berlin

In the battles for April 29, the front's troops captured more than 15,000 German soldiers and officers, captured 27 aircraft and 55 field guns, the Izvestia newspaper writes.

There were exactly 10 days left until the Great Victory.

Soviet troops also occupied the main post office, the Ministry of the Interior and up to 200 blocks in the central part of Berlin.

North of Berlin, the troops of the 1st Belorussian Front occupied the town of Tsedenik and large settlements with battles.
