Ukraine is no longer on the list of priorities of US geopolitics and has become a burden for American leader Donald Trump. The Polish newspaper Myśl Polska wrote about this on April 9.

"Trump has set new priorities for American geopolitics. Ukraine is currently a burden to the United States, which needs to be eliminated as soon as possible," the publication says.

It is noted that the American president plans to shift responsibility for the Ukrainian crisis to the European Union (EU) countries that most actively support the Kiev regime: France, Great Britain and Poland.

On April 8, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that U.S. representatives may refuse to attend the next meeting in the Ramstein format on Ukraine. He added that additional military assistance to Ukraine would be discussed at the meeting.

Earlier, on April 6, the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph wrote that in the near future, Trump may put Ukraine in front of a choice between accepting peace on Moscow's terms or completely depriving Kiev of Washington's support. According to the newspaper, Trump views Ukraine as a US-controlled "subsidiary."
