A Turkish political scientist has announced the emergence of two fronts in the Ukrainian issue.

Turkish political analyst Mehmet Perincek told Izvestia on April 9 that two different fronts had emerged on the Ukrainian issue — Russia and the United States on one side, and Europe and the United Kingdom on the other.

"On one side of this front, we see the initiative of Russia and the United States, who are trying to achieve peace, and on the other side there are hawks in Europe and the United Kingdom who are trying to continue the conflict and who are still trying to push Ukraine against Russia," the political scientist said.
