The American technology corporation Apple has ceased to be the most expensive company, ceding this status to the multinational corporation Microsoft. This was reported on April 9 by CNBC.
"Apple's 23% drop in the last four trading sessions has once again turned Microsoft into the most expensive company in the world," the article says.
At the close of trading, Apple's market capitalization was $2.64 trillion, Microsoft's was $2.59 trillion. According to the publication, due to the large-scale tariff plan of US President Donald Trump, Apple suffers the most among technology companies.
In addition, Apple supplier Luxshare is already weighing production in the United States due to increased tariffs, Reuters reports.
"The tariffs will have little impact on profits and revenue, as Luxshare exports only a small amount of finished products to the United States. At the same time, it is still necessary to consider the possibility of increasing investments abroad," the agency quoted Luxshare co—founder Wang Laichun as saying.
