Chery announces extended Tiggo 7L crossover in Russia

Chery has announced the launch of sales in Russia of the Tiggo 7L crossover, which differs from the standard "seventh" model in an increased body length and an expanded number of options. This is stated in the distributor's message, which was received by Izvestia on April 9. The cost of the crossover in the initial version is indicated only taking into account the benefits: 2.58 million rubles.

The body of the Chery Tiggo 7L is 40 mm longer than that of the Tiggo 7 Pro Max. The length of the car is 4553 mm, the remaining dimensions remained the same, as well as the wheelbase (2670 mm). The ground clearance is 190 mm, the luggage compartment volume is 475 liters (1,500 liters with the rear seats folded).

The Tiggo 7L will be presented in three trim levels in front-wheel drive and with an alternative 1.6 turbo engine with a capacity of 150 hp (275 Nm) paired with a seven-speed "robot". Acceleration to "hundreds" takes 9.7 seconds. The power plant is the same as the Tiggo 7 Pro Max.

The list of equipment includes a curved dual screen multimedia system, leather seats in dark brown tones with electric controls, black ceiling and other options. The company noted that for the convenience of the driver, there are physical climate control keys.

The day before, it was reported that the Exlantix ET all-wheel drive crossover was certified in Russia, and sales of the model are scheduled to start in April. The Exlantix ET is equipped with the REEV hybrid powerplant, which includes a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and two electric motors with a recoil of 197 hp on the front axle and 265 hp on the rear.
