In the Moscow region, a teenager with a knife attacked a young boy, the child died. This was reported on April 9 in the press service of the Prosecutor's office of the Moscow region.

"According to preliminary information, this afternoon a 14-year-old teenager was standing near the entrance to the hostel in the MKR. Trudovaya in the village Nekrasovsky of the Dmitrov city District stabbed a ten—year-old boy during the conflict," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that despite the medical assistance provided, it was not possible to save the child.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region later clarified that the police received a message from a local resident that a nine-year-old boy with a knife wound was found near one of the houses in the village of Nekrasovsky, from which he died.

The suspect in the crime was promptly detained by police officers at the Iksha station — he turned out to be a 14-year-old local resident.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder").

Earlier, on April 8, in Novy Urengoy, a schoolboy stabbed a security guard at an educational institution with a folding knife when he tried to stop a minor's conflict with another student. The victim was taken to the hospital with a cut wound on his cheek. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
