- The mural, designed by a schoolboy in honor of the Victory, appeared in the Kuban

A mural dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory Day has appeared in Krasnodar. It was created based on a drawing by a seventh grade student. The mural was reproduced at a water pumping station in the central district of the city.
The press service of Rosvodokanal of Krasnodar told KrasnodarMedia news agency that the winner of the Dobro i Delo Charity Foundation competition in the Governor's Region was a pupil of the Ponomarenko Children's Art School.
The seventh-grader's drawing was accurately transferred to the facade of the company's station by artist Pavel Bibishev. The identity of the image is completely preserved. The mural symbolizes two sides of life and reflects the contrast between war and peace.
In 2024, an exclusive drawing dedicated to water decorated the building of the enterprise on Oktyabrskaya Street. Professional artist Kristina Arkhipova worked on the mural. Rosvodokanal has taken the initiative to change its facilities through design. So, drawings in honor of historical events and prominent people will appear in the city, the company's press service said.
Earlier it was reported about the opening of a pedestrian fountain in Krasnodar, which is 55 m long. Deck chairs and awnings have been set up on site for vacationers. The structure consists of 16 jets that shoot up to a height of 1.8 m. In addition, foam pillars and additional jets are equipped that create water arches. Glowing balls, a mirrored butterfly and a heart are used as decorations. Art objects, benches, deck chairs and canopies with swings were installed on the boulevard around the fountain.
