GBU Ritual has completed the preparation of Moscow cemeteries for visits during the Easter holidays. This was reported in the official Telegram channel of the Department of Trade and Services of the capital on Wednesday, April 9.
"The entrances and facades of buildings in cemeteries have been updated, fences, gates, wickets and navigation signs have been repaired, and all trees that were in disrepair have been removed," the Moscow City News agency quotes the message.
More than 2.4 million garbage bags and 12 thousand cubic meters of sand were purchased for visitors, and about 10 thousand pieces of household equipment were updated at free rental points.
Earlier, on April 7, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that in the capital on Easter night, the work of almost 150 of the most popular routes of buses, electric buses and trams will last until 3:30 Moscow time, the NSN reports.
In addition, free routes will be organized during the holidays, which will connect the metro stations and the MDC with major metropolitan cemeteries. Transportation along special routes on the territories of the cemeteries themselves will also be free, according to the website. kp.ru .
