The court in Moscow recognized the common debts of Blinovskaya and her husband
The Moscow Arbitration Court recognized the common debts of blogger Elena Blinovskaya and her husband Alexei, an Izvestia correspondent reported from the courtroom on April 9.
According to the judge's ruling, Blinovskaya and her husband will have to jointly bear obligations to VTB Bank in the amount of more than 168 million rubles. They also jointly incur obligations to the Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service (IFNS) in the amount of 1 billion 168 million rubles.
The next meeting on Blinovskaya's bankruptcy procedure is scheduled for May 19. The court received a statement from a financial manager named Oznobikhina, who asks to invalidate the payment made by the blogger's husband to his father, Vladimir Blinovsky, in the amount of 8,997,165,21 rubles, where "Financial assistance" was indicated in the purpose of the payment. The manager asks the court to apply the consequences of the invalidity of the transaction, the Izvestia journalist reported.
Prior to that, on February 26 of this year, the court seized the accounts and property of Blinovskaya's spouse in the case of her own bankruptcy.
On March 3, the blogger was sentenced to five years in prison in a penal colony. The marathon queen was also fined 1 million rubles and banned from engaging in certain activities for four years. In addition, 587 million rubles were recovered from Blinovskaya at the request of the prosecutor's office.
Blinovskaya was detained in April 2023 on suspicion of fraud for the purpose of non-payment of taxes. She was under house arrest for about a year. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation completed the investigation into the blogger on July 25, 2024. On August 30, she partially pleaded guilty to tax evasion. In November, the blogger was declared bankrupt, after which the court began selling her property.
