- Izvestia participated in the Zen project dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory

The multimedia information Center Izvestia has joined the historical and educational project launched by Zen in Novosti on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
Zen has launched the historical and educational project "80 years ago", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. On the main page dzen.ru For a month, the News will publish authentic archival materials about events that took place exactly 80 years ago every day.
A total of 17 federal and regional media participated in the project. Among them are Izvestia, TASS, Komsomolskaya Pravda, Moskovskie Novosti, Vechernyaya Moskva, Pravda newspaper, InoSMI and others. The media digitized and published their archived wartime newspapers — previously they were stored only in printed form.
In the "80 years ago" section, Zen users will be able to immerse themselves in real reports from the front, learn the stories of the heroes and see how the country lived at the most crucial moment in its history. And also to remember the storming of Konigsberg and read about how a Kazakh countryman presented a combat aircraft to a pilot.
The visual code of the historical and educational project is inspired by the design of old newspapers.
Earlier it became known that the neural networks of Yandex digitized more than 30 thousand issues of the newspaper Izvestia. Users can access a full-text search by issue numbers starting from the first issue in 1917 in the Archive Search service.
