The FSB showed footage of the detention of an ex-employee of Rosmorrechflot

On April 9, the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia published footage of the detention of Leonid Novikov, former deputy head of the Rosmorrechflot Transport Security Department, accused of taking 8.5 million rubles in bribes.
In the published footage, the operatives enter the apartment, where Novikov is on the floor with his hands raised. His two—storey country house is also shown: there is a pond on the plot, and a fireplace inside.
According to the investigation, in July 2019, the deputy head of the department received a bribe from the founder of one of the commercial companies in the form of a parking space worth 500 thousand rubles and an apartment worth 8 million rubles.
The court decided to take the former official into custody. Law enforcement officers continue to collect evidence in the criminal case.
On April 2, the Izmailovsky District Court of Moscow sentenced the former Prime Minister of Dagestan, Abdusamad Gamidov, to 13 years in a high-security penal colony. He was found guilty of abuse of office, accepting bribes and illegal possession of weapons.
