"Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli Air Force has attacked more than 45 targets of terrorist organizations throughout the Gaza Strip," the statement said.

According to the Israeli military, in the Tel Sultan area of Rafah, soldiers of the Gaza division discovered tunnels and destroyed militant shelters. The forces of the 36th Division, operating in the areas of Rafah and the Morag road, eliminated the terrorists and destroyed buildings used for military purposes.

Units of the 252nd Division are continuing operations in the northern part of the sector. A cache of weapons was destroyed there over the past day, as well as several militants were eliminated.
