FAS recognized inappropriate advertising of Ozon Bank

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has found Ozon Bank's advertising inappropriate due to false information about the financial product in the video. This was announced on April 9 by the FAS press service.
The advertisement was distributed on the video hosting site and contained information about the possibility of purchasing goods in installments in the credit institution's application.
"However, Ozon Bank did not have such a financial product in its product line. In an explanatory footnote, it was stated in a difficult—to-understand way for a short time that the service was provided by another company, Ozon Credit," the FAS reported.
According to the FAS, the actions of the organization misled consumers, so the agency issued an order to stop the violation. The company faces a fine.
On March 25, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) fined Sberbank for illegally advertising a car loan.
