Efremov's lawyer announced the actor's return to his career after completing treatment.

Honored Artist of Russia Mikhail Yefremov, who was released from prison on parole, will return to acting after treatment. On April 9, Yuri Padalko, the actor's lawyer, told Izvestia.

"He will continue to return to his career because he is a talented actor. He loves his profession, he missed it a lot," the lawyer said.

Padalko said that Yefremov continued to make short films even while in prison. He expressed the hope that the actor's life will turn out well in the future. At the same time, he stressed that it is difficult for the artist to talk and breathe now, he needs to receive qualified treatment.

On the same day, Efremov's lawyer announced the artist's release from prison. According to him, the actor is currently traveling to Moscow at the place of registration.

The court took into account the exemplary behavior of the artist and decided on parole.

Padalko announced on March 24 that after being released from prison on April 9, the actor would be treated for lung disease. On March 24, the Alekseevsky District Court of the Belgorod region granted the artist's petition for parole. Yefremov was banned from driving vehicles and changing his place of residence without warning until the end of his actual sentence.

The actor served half of his sentence and has been eligible to apply for early release for almost a year. Without him, the 61-year-old actor, who is experiencing health problems, would not have been able to be released before 2027.
