In the Rostov region, the discovery of a UAV in an apartment building in Aksai was reported.

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of an airplane type was found in a residential apartment building in Aksai. This was announced on April 9 by the acting governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar.

"In Aksai, a fallen aircraft—type UAV was found on clotheslines in an apartment building at 74 Platova Street," Slyusar said in a Telegram message.

The acting governor clarified that there were no casualties or damage. Due to the threat of detonation of the UAV, all residents of the house were evacuated. They were placed in a temporary accommodation facility, which was deployed in a local cultural center. Specialists are working at the scene of the incident, he added.

On the same day, Slyusar reported that the air defense forces had repelled an attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in nine districts of the Rostov region. He added that due to the fall of UAV debris in Zernograd, the roof of a garage and an apartment building was damaged. The roof of one of the houses in Donetsk was also damaged.
