Revenue from content sales at the National Media Group (NMG) has almost quadrupled over the past two years. This was announced on April 9 by Svetlana Balanova, CEO of the media holding.

"Revenue from content sales has almost quadrupled over the past two years. Plus, new directions have appeared, for example, NMG Film Distribution," Balanova said in an interview with RBC.

According to her, despite the departure of Western partners, the company was able not only to compensate for losses, but also to significantly increase its performance. Balanova clarified that this was facilitated, among other things, by the growth of the advertising market, in which the company's revenue almost doubled.

"The advertising market was growing. Within its framework, we also have very good figures — almost doubled in the last two years — the sponsorship revenue segment shows, as we increased our production and got the opportunity for more such integrations," the CEO shared.

She also noted the incredible leap that the Russian content production market in Russia has made over the past few years.

"We proved to the audience that we can make very competitive and highly sought—after content," Balanova added.

On Friday, March 7, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the national award "Our Contribution" took place at the coordination center of the Russian government. The National Media Group took the third place in the nomination "Big Business. Network". The award was given to Maria Zalunina, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at NMG.
